i saw my ou xiang today. =D

was an ethics kinda lecture.. on diversity. my ou xiang wasn't lecturing.. he just introduced the speaker and rounded up the lect. (it's not really a lecture actually.. the plenary session).

the plenary was really gd. lots of pple think it was a total waste of time.. cos it was not examinable.. nothing scientific actually. half of the pple didn't even turn up. i'm glad i went (for more reasons than one).. haha.

the speaker was the kind that made u go, wow he's a great man. the things he said.. they made u think. i heard pple saying tt they were writing down the things he said.. (kinda like wat i did with the things that my ou xiang said). my ou xiang is one of a kind so let's not compare them.

aniwae.. if u have time.. this is worth a read.. and a thought.

but of course.. for pple like tiffany who didn't understand kingdom of heaven.. u might want to give this a miss.

The religious challenge is to find God’s image in someone who is not in our image, in someone whose color is different, whose culture is different, who speaks a different language, tells a different story, and worships God in a different way.
