bored out of my mind so here u go tiff..
24 interesting facts/things/habits about me:1. i'm absolutely useless. i can't do anything. i can't swim. i can't cycle. i can't skate. i can't ski. i can't draw. i can't dance. i can't play any musical instruments (that's true even though i spent ~6yrs of my childhood learning the piano). i can't do splits. i can't do cartwheels. i can't think of anything else but it's a fact that i can't do much.
2. i'm turning into a softie lately. i'm convinced i am. i mean, i used to be the girl who got told off by tiffany while watching the classic because i leaned over to tell her that the guys were ugly when she and sera were busy sobbing away. nowadays i seem to have regained functional lacrimal glands.
3. which reminded me.. there used to be something wrong with my lacrimal glands. and i'm not just being figurative here. i went to the opthalmologist and he stuck strips of litmus-paper-like paper between my eyelids. 5 minutes later they were still completely dry.
4. i'm miss repeat-one. when i'm into a song.. i play it (and it alone) on loop over and over again. let me check the song that's been played the most number of times on my itunes. it's daniel powter's bad day.. at 178 times! WOO HOO!! (josh groban's you're still you is a distant second at 119..)
5. jane austen's pride and prejudice is one of my favourite books and for the longest time mr darcy was my idea of the ideal guy.
6. i used to be completely in love with aladdin. you know.. the aladdin from the disney cartoon of the same name.
7. when i was really young and just starting to learn chinese.. i used a ruler to write the chinese characters.
8. in sec 4 when we were supposed to draw the cross section of a lime/lemon/orange.. i was using a ruler to draw out the little triangle things (i've completely forgotten what you call them..) when mrs wong stopped me and told me that nature isn't perfect.. in front of the whole class.
9. i hate the reproductive system.
10. i think tom cruise is the greatest actor alive.. and the most goodlooking one too.
11. i've recently discovered the greatest invention since the telephone.. SKYPE!
12. my idea of a dream date is to spend the day in an amusement park.
13. candice said she couldn't decide what super power she would want.. i can. i've always wanted to be like cyclops. (the cyclops from xmen.. not the cyclops from greek mythology..) to be able to blast someone away with just a look.. woo hoo! that totally gives "if looks could kill" another meaning..
14. i'm very very sensitive about my eyes. my small eyes. someone once used "aerodynamic" to describe them..
15. i'm very very very embarrassed to admit this.. but there was a time (in the not-so-distant past) when i liked 183 club.
16. to this day i still read (and enjoy reading) shoujo manga. the earliest one in my memory is candy candy. i must have read it when i was 6 or 7.
17. i WILL have a library in my house.. when i finally have my house in the future. that's one thing i really really want. and i've got it more or less planned out in my head. completely soundproof, with carpetted floors and shelves made of wood, and a corner piled with cushions and beanbags.
18. i fell asleep once in the cinema before the movie even started. that was "bee season".. the richard gere movie. i was just tired i think..
19. i'm a compulsive planner. i plan everything and anything. just for the sake of it. cos even though i know most of the time things never go as planned, i just enjoy the act of planning. maybe it's because i'm a compulsive thinker..
20. i think too much. i let my thoughts run wild. i can sit at my table and just think (which is a better word than daydream) the whole day away.
21. i'm all into shoulders. i used to be, still am, and probably will always be.
22. i can never remember to use my perfume. my bottle of miracle has turned orange from pink.
23. all of you must know this.. but i'll say it still cos i'm running out of things to say. i have naturally wavy hair. who was it that used to say that it looks like the merlion's mane?
24. i used to want to be an actress.. until i realised you need to have either looks or talent.. neither of which i possess.
right.. that's it! that drained me of every inch of energy in me. how did u guys manage?!?!
