so the question goes something like,
you are required to examine the patient's head and lower limbs, the examiner will tell you what to do.

so when the bell rang, i walked in, and the examiner went, "measure the patient's head circumference.

but as every medical student would remember to do, i looked around for the alcohol gel and asked for it when i couldn't find one. and i thought, "a-ha! it's a trick and i REMEMBERED!"

"haven't u already done that outside?"

"erm.. yeah," i said, although i obviously hadn't, "i just thought u wanted to see me do it."

"no. i want to see you measure the head circumference."

wth.

after i very ungracefully twirled a measuring tape around the poor boy's head, the examiner went, "examine the power, movement, and reflexes of the lower limbs."

"on inspection.."

"no.. power, movement, reflexes."

FINE. but wth is movement?!

"does that include tone?"

"POWER, MOVEMENT, REFLEXES."

wtf.

talk about bad starts. by the end of the station everything had left my brain and i was as thick as kumar&clark.. only blank.
